How will I know when it's right?
1. Size matters!Austin Air Junior air cleaner outside dimensions: Height: 16.5", Width: 11" x 11"
Austin Air Standard outside dimensions: Height: 23", Width: 14.5" x 14.5"
2. What color is your air cleaner?SandStone, Silver, White, Pink or Light Blue - Use a White pre-filter.
Black or Dark Blue - Use a Black pre-filter.
3. Do I need to order a pre-filter in addition to a primary filter?
No, the replacement filter comes with the Permafelt pre-filter. Some people change the pre-filter more often than the primary filter, but that is personal preference.
4. Age counts too!
Was your HealthMate air cleaner built before August of 1995? If so, you need the Allergy Machine HEGA style filter replacement.
5. Perplexed? with the air cleaner's serial # (to find it, unplug and flip the unit upside down) and I will contact the manufacturer. We'll get it right!
